Vacation Time

Steady week of small runs as I build on the race last week. I am off to sunnier climes for a short break, heading west, and to California. Flight leaves at 9 in the morning, and LAX is beckoning. Couple of days in Marina Del Ray/Santa Monica, and then onto Palm Springs for sun and relaxation - And hopefully some warm weather training.

So, much as I am sure you will miss my random missives (What do you mean - very random?), I shall be back before you know it, and I'll have some nice pics I hope.

You're off to California now?

It's a tough life, but someone's got to do it, right?

You are in big trouble buster!!! Don't you know I would use any excuse to leave here and go visit the folks in San Luis??? We could have hooked up for a run or something! (trouble, trouble, trouble....)

Hey Liam, California eh? Nice.

Hey, my two friends and I are running the London Marathon in April and then flying over to Dublin for a few days. Can you recommend a good pub or two?

Cheers!

Liam, enjoy the running in sunny California, great scenery if you can get out and run anywhere on the coast, especially if you are in the Laguna Beach area. If you get a chance, please visit my running web site, Faithful Soles. I have a categorized and searchable Running Blog Database on there and would appreciate it if you would link your blog to it. I also have my own blog, but most of my information is on the main web site. I look forward to seeing the pictures and hearing about your California trip.

What ho matey!

Just tapped running and alcoholic into this google thing and up you popped.

Sounds like you've had a great holiday - cos you ain't come back yet.

Like you I'm a 'holic' - but that's an elite athletic'oholic; like you I've got a bit of the Claddagh in me blood; but unlike you, I'm off to the Olympics in 2012 to win Gold for England.

Wish me luck laddie!

Keep on tapering.
